According to the DVC Resale Market June Right of First Refusal (ROFR) Report, the DVC buy back rate for June was 14% compared to 2% for the same period last year, despite average resale prices having increased over 20% during the period, indicating very strong demand.
DVC deeds provide DVC the Right of First Refusal (ROFR) to purchase any resale contract sold by any DVC Member. DVC exercises their ROFR in order to sell sold out resorts direct to new and existing DVC Members. Saratoga Springs, Animal Kingdom, and Old Key West, which have the lowest direct prices for any Walt Disney World Resorts, were the top 3 resorts DVC exercised their ROFR for this year.
