Below are some photos of the new Epcot member lounge, which is located on the second floor of the Imagination pavilion. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through the 25th anniversary celebration, which will last through the end of this year.
The entrance is through the pavilion’s merchandise shop. DVC Members will need their membership card as well as ID to enter. A Cast Member will be at the bottom of the stairs (there is also an elevator) to check in you and your party.
What do you think of it?
Thanks to WilsonFlyer (Bob) for the photos!

oooo….I like it!!
Do you think they will keep this open for DVC members beyond the 25th anniversary?
No one knows for sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it closed at the end of 2016.
Pretty sure this is intended to be permanent. This space hasn’t been utilized for years.
When asked during the preview, Ken Potrock (DVC SVP) said they were committed to keeping the lounge open through the end of 2016. Some corporate sponsor could pickup the space if DVC decides not to continue it.
Thank you!
Do you know if Members can bring guests with them?
Party size is limited to the Member and up to 5 guests per Membership Card.
Looks interesting. Will have to try it.
Looks like a great place to cool off and take a break!
Another nail in the coffin of the awesomeness that was the old ImageWorks, far better than its downstairs replacement.
I hope it stays open into 2017 so we can see it/use it on our trip in October.
Was there a few days ago. Great place to relax for a minute to beat the heat. Recharge yourself and your electronics! Only small complaint the bathrooms are on the first floor and you have to exit the area and go back through re-entry process!
My wife and I each have membership cards (as we are co-purchasers). May we bring up to five with each of us? (Our daughter’s family and our close friends will be with us for several days.)
The rules state: “Party size is limited to the Member and up to 5 guests per Membership Card”. It doesn’t say “per Membership”.
Thanks. That was my guess too, but I much prefer to get confirmation!
The answer to that question is you are allowed up to 5 guests per membership card. I had a party of 8 and my wife and I each have a membership card. They broke it up to me and the 5 and my wife with 1. All 8 were able to enter without any problems.
